Meet Our Team

Tim started his construction career at a young age, working with his dad’s concrete company.

His talent was quickly recognized by the owners of Skillful Improvements & Restoration, who hired Tim after seeing him work on one of their projects. There, he developed experience in water restoration, mold remediation, and remodeling.

He was later hired by Key Residential, where he continued to strengthen and refine his construction skills. With years of hands-on experience and industry knowledge, Tim was ready to start his own company in 2012.

Tim brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and leadership to Johnson Renovations. Alongside a great team, he helps create beautiful spaces for clients to enjoy now and for years to come.

Kay joined Johnson Renovations with a diverse background as an artist and interior designer, as well as a long-standing career with Northwestern Mutual. Her creativity, experience, and eye for design bring a unique perspective to every project.

As you work with Kay, you’ll quickly discover her knack for making design decisions feel easy, enjoyable, and fun. She remains available throughout the project, helping guide you through each step, while naturally building a bond and friendship along the way.

Tie is a graduate of Texas College in Tyler, where she earned an Associate of Arts in General Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She brings her natural organizational skills, along with a strong customer service background, to every Johnson Renovations client.

Throughout your project, Tie will stay in constant communication with you regarding scheduling, updates, and important details. From start to finish, she’ll be an important ally by your side, helping to make your renovation experience as organized and seamless as possible.
